Exceptions and Errors with the map

I'm using FalconView 4.2.0.2934. After starting up FalconView, I see that I cannot zoom in very close on the maps that I have. When I reference the errorlog, I find the following:

    What kinds of maps do you have installed on your system? Did they work before and they stopped working?

      Any map...any type... yes these same maps work for others on this system...therefore, what's important is why my configuration doesn't work and others' does. So, to that end, I wanted to know if you can tell me what these errors in the error log really mean as they're text is not meaningful to me. Perhaps, you or someone on the software development team understand the details listed here. Thanks for your help.

        These errors don't mean anything to me. I'll let you know if another FalconView developer gives me a hint. So you are saying that it works fine for other users on the same computer, but not for you? Have you verified that you have read access to the same map data paths as they do?

          ok...this is resolved. Using the map data manager, I removed all the paths to the map data. moved all of the map data to my local machine. added the new paths back in as paths to the map data. still failed...

          then, I rebooted the machine, and now it works properly. It doesn't throw those errors listed above and will now let me scale in and out properly within the maps.

            Ah, yes, the magic of the reboot. If I had been an ISP customer service representative, that is the first thing that I would have thought to suggest for you to try. :-)
