FalconView (#1) - Add new .tif map on falconview (#582) - Message List

If it is a geotiff file, load it into a directory and add it with the map manager. If it is not georegistered, simply a tif file, I would use gimp2, a free online university program to read in the .tiff file, modify it as desired, and save it out as a .jpg sized to fit comfortably in GeoRect?. (less than ~ 40mb for my computer) Then rectify it in GeoRect? and save it out as a .jpg map or image to the directory as described above. If you are not sure whether it is a georegistered .tif file, just open it in GeoRect? and see if it has co-ordinates.
