Flight Planning

I have made some additions to Falconview for my own general aviation flight planning uses that others may find of benefit:

I like to start out with a high level map, draw in the route, and then refine with the more detailed maps. To that end, I've input a GNC using GeoRect?, but I've also created drawing files by tracing off the sectionals for Moas and Restricted Areas, as well as for US states. These can be reflected up into the Tiros, and aid in plotting the flight planning route. Probably should have used shape files, but don't have the software. At least the drw's can be easily updated when the special use areas change. Just download and copy them into your PFPS Drawing directory.

I also like an AF form70 type of kneeboard flight plan when I fly, to track position and fuel, so I made up some software to create one from an input file with lat-lon points. If interested, download the following:

Obviously use the above at your own risk and check the latest data before flight.

Great! You may want to add some documentation to FalconViewForGeneralAviation. It's kind of stale, but I'd like to see more there.
