FalconView (#1) - Simple Question FV 3.3.1 (#199) - Message List
Okay, for some reason the scroll on my mouse no longer zooms maps in and out and for the life of me I can't figure out if there is someplace I can go to set this. I really don't want to uninstall and reinstall to fix this problem. So, anyone have any idea where I could go in the menus to tell FV to use the scroll wheel for zoom? Windows XP SP3, FV 3.3.1.804, Dell standard USB mouse and keyboard. Thanks, Jeff

Strange. I assume that it works to scroll in other applications?

Yes, it works fine everywhere else but for some reason not in FV. Yeah, it's weird.

Do you have multiple monitors. If I recall 3.3.1 had a problem with the wheel and multiple monitors. (Back in 2003 multiple monitors were fairly rare).

Nope, single monitor, basic Dell Vostro 400, Windows XP, Dell USB scroll mouse, Dell monitor, nothing esoteric. Do you know if there is a setting in FalconView where you can check mouse settings or does it just pull that data from Windows? Worse comes to worse I guess I'll wind up upgrading to the newer version and seeing if it works there.

No there are no user settings for the mouse. I have never seen heard of anyone having anything that sounds similar. Even back when we first had the problem with multiple monitors, the mouse change the scale, it just scaled in at an unexpected location.
