FalconView (#1) - CADRG currency unknown (#484) - Message List
I have several machines, all using the same server source for Maps and Charts. Some machines print the message, "CADRG currency unknown" on TPCs only. The message only shows on one particular area. Most of the machines will print the CADRG currency date.
Does anyone know why some do and some don't?

Take a look at Error_Log.txt see if it help tracks down the problem.

In order to determine currency you need the list of the latest files. There are two or three lists depending on the version of FalconView:
- index.ntf is the NAVPLAN index for 1:250K - 1:5M scale NGA charts
- TLMIndex.ntf is the file for 1:50K and 1:100K TLM charts
- there is a new ECRG index file but I don't remember the name off the top of my head.
The files come out monthly as part of the Cadrg Supplemental Disk (CSD) and the TLM update disks. If you put one of these disks in your drive tray or add a map path to the location of these disks, FalconView will import the data into system. At that point FalconView can determine if you are current or not.
It sounds like you have no TLM index info loaded on one of the machines or the list is out of date.
