FalconView (#1) - DAFIF error warning (#573) - Message List
We are using FV in a customized version running on Windows XP.
We provide our DoD customers map data for the area they will be operating in and it rarely changes.
We have been getting reports every now and then that the users are getting a warning at program start that the DAFIF needs updating.
Our systems are not connected to the interwebs and so it is not possible (nor desirable) to have the data updated in this way.
Is there a registry setting to disable this message so that users are not warned?
They are sometimes sending the system back to us because they think something is wrong with it.
Thanks in advance.

Registry path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PFPS\falconview\DAFIF\ Key: DafifWarning_date Key Value format: "01/01/2999"
We set this programmatically when our app starts up, before launching FV. No more warning!

All the Users have to do is acknowledge the warning ONE time (check the box) and they will not see the warning again. The warning is there for a reason, to remind the User that his system does not have CURRENT data and he should not be planning with out of data navigation points.
