Contributors (#3) - CADRG Layers Notional Name (#621) - Message List

I am wondering if there are notional names for the different CADRG raster map layers. I wish to associate naming convention to map types GNC, JNC, ONC, TPC, JOG, TLM 50 as well as 10M, 5M, 1M images. Names such as continent, country, city, and/or street view as opposed to the 'Short Names'.

Is there a convention or is this open for what user wishes to use? This question is directed for easy of use functionality.
