Question: Problems zooming in Falconlite
I'm using FalconLite? 3.2, and when the map is zoomed out to the world view, the zoom in toolbar button will not zoom in on the centered location. However when I right click on the center of the map, and select "scale in". It works. Is there a way around this so that the user can use the zoom in toolbar button, rather than having to right click?
Answer
There is no way to do exactly what you are looking for but I think "scaling in" is what you want.
On the World Image data (Tiros), we do not support changing the zoom percentage, we only allow you to change the scale. But since 8Km Tiros is just a higher resolution version of 16km Tiros, scaling in es essentially the same thing as choosing a 200% zoom except it does not get pixelated like a zoom would.
You can do this by pressing the "in" button on the toolbar or by rolling the mouse wheel or by pressing the "Page Up" key or by using the scale tool and rubber banding an area that you want to scale into.
