How are you using FalconView™?

Here are some links to various products/programs involving FalconView:

• The  Evans and Sutherland Environmental Processor has been integrated with FalconView to allow tie the FalconView 2D mapping functionality with the high end 3D visualization functionality of the E&S EP software.

• The  CAE LASAR CMS Attack Helicopter Simulator. Is used by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment for training. The control system is tightly integrated w/ PFPS.

• Pablo's  Mission Planning Website Has a number of downloadable tools including Excel2FV which formats Tabular data into common FalconView file formats. He also produces mission planning tips about using PFPS.

• An old  Defense News article about FalconView's/PFPS's placing as a finalist in the Window World Open. This lead to a chapter in _Business at the speed of thought_ by Bill Gates

• Here is an article on the  Navy's Silver Fox UAV which uses FalconView for realtime route replanning.

• FalconView is used at JFCOM's  Joint Training Events.

• Innovative Concepts  DigiTAC Communications system which combines a communications system with FalconView/PFPS.

• Brandes Associates, Inc. writes the  Information Decision Support System which provides weather data on top of FalconView.

• Air Force Research Lab did an interface on FalconView to control  Wide Area Search Munitions (UAVs)

• The Navy Research Laboratory created a Moving Map System for  Amphibious Vehicles based on FalconView and COTS hardware.
