Each type of map is implememted as a seperate map handler including RPF (CADRG or CIB), DTED, GeoTIFF and MrSID, and VPF.
3rd parties can extend FalconView™ 4.0 with their own Map Types by implementing IMapRender and a MapHandler.
Aditionally meta data is decribed through IMapInformation
VectorMaps which don't have an explicit scale need to implement IDynamicMapType.
