The Moving Map Function allows a GPS or GPS-like device to display its location on the FalconView map and to cause the map to scroll as the device moves. The typical configuration would be for FalconView to be running on a laptop at the navigators station while hooked up to a GPS. As the aircraft moves, an aircraft symbol moves arounf the map denoting the current position.
